About Ellerna
Ellerna is a learning, care and enrichment platform. It brings programs, enrollment, attendance, family communication, billing and reports into one place for the people who run them, the people who teach, and the families they serve.
Childcare and early learning centers, schools running before and after school care, learning and tutoring centres, and enrichment providers such as arts, music, sports and camp programs. It works for a single location or many.
Ellerna is made by Mindtris in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
No. Ellerna runs in the web browser on computers, tablets and phones. Staff and families sign in with their email address.
Accounts and roles
Owners see every location in their organization. Location admins run one location. Teachers see the classes they work in. Families see their own children. Each person sees only what their role needs.
Owners and location admins invite staff and families by email. A family invitation can be linked to the child’s record, so the family sees their child as soon as they join.
Owners, admins and teachers sign in with their password and a one-time code sent to their email. Families sign in with their email and password.
Plans and billing
Yes. Choose a free plan when you sign up, and change plans from Settings whenever you need more students, locations or features.
Plans differ by the number of enrolled students, the number of locations and the features each one includes. See the pricing page for the current plans.
Students who are currently enrolled. Applications and waitlisted students do not count toward your plan.
Each paid plan is billed per month or per year, as its price shows, in US dollars by card, through Stripe. You can change your plan from Settings.
Yes. Your center can send tuition invoices, and families pay them online by card from their family account.
Privacy and security
The child’s linked family members, and the staff at the child’s location who work with them. Access is checked by role and location on every request.
Approved pickup contacts are part of each child’s record. Families add a new guardian or pickup contact through a family request, and location staff approve or decline it.
